This hemp satchel is named after a sleepy Hawaiian town that sits between Kalapana and Volcano, on the big island.  

It also happens to be exactly where the Sunny Life story began. Our founder, Sunny, landed there in 2016, exchanging landscaping for rent for an 80 year old widow. We started selling hemp hats on a 4 ft table at Uncle Roberts, a small night market in Kalapana - and we haven't looked back since.
