Darling little carpet bag coin purse circa 1950s.  This is a wee little thing, measuring only about 4" wide at the widest by about 3.5" tall including the clasp. Gold tone clasp. The interior is one compartment. Label reads: Hand Made In Japan, does not give a designer name. The lining inside feels like a faille, in white. This is just the cutest thing.

Excellent vintage condition. The exterior is pretty much mint. The white lining shows some shadowing and foxing of age.
